Wild Blueberry
Blueberries contain phytochemicals and antioxidants to neutralize free radicals, which in turn make the skin look softer and younger. Due to the high levels of vitamin C, vitamin K and manganese found in blueberries, they also smooth the skin, prevent fine lines and wrinkles, eliminate scars, increase elasticity, fight against blemishes and acne, balance levels of oil in the skin, and help even out skin tone. The antioxidants are concentrated mostly in the skin of a blueberry, and because wild blueberries are small and dense, one cup of wild blueberries can contain almost twice the antioxidants as a cup of cultivated blueberries.Â

The richness of the Omega 3 fatty acids improve skin density and tone.Â
Northern Cranberry
A native North American species of cranberry delivers potent antioxidants that help inhibit free radical damage from daily environmental stress to the skin.  It is effective in treating wrinkles that are primarily caused due to free radicals. Antioxidants in cranberries combat the free radicals by supplying the missing electrons, reducing the damage caused and slowing down the aging process. Cranberry is very effective in slowing down the aging process primarily due it’s it’s high levels of natural phenolics, like quercetin and cyanidin. With it’s strong antioxidant content it helps care for dry and mature skin or cases where the skin's natural barrier is damaged. The mixture of natural tocopherols and carotenoids protects the skin's own lipids and cell membranes from oxidative damage and delays environmental based skin aging. Dry skin also benefits from the oil and due to the fact the skin absorbs it so well it makes the skin super soft and hydrated. The vitamin C in cranberries is crucial for the production of hydroxyproline and hydroxylysine, the amino acids which are required for the production of collagen in the body. Collagen helps the blood vessels under the skin carry oxygen and other nutrients which, in turn, soften and firm up the skin and make it look young and radiant.

Seaweed and human blood plasma have nearly the same mineral levels, making algae and kelp among the most bioavailable skincare ingredients.
